Motorway Thokur Niaz Baig is one of Lahore’s most well-known local businesses. The M-2 Motorway, also known as the Lahore–Islamabad Motorway, is a north–south highway in Pakistan that connects Rawalpindi/Islamabad and Lahore. It was the first motorway in South Asia to be built. The M-2 is a 375-kilometer highway that runs wholly through Punjab. Thokar Niaz Baig is the main entry point into Lahore from the south and west. It connects the M-2 highway with the N5 national highway (Multan Road) as well as the Lahore Ring Road. The Lahore Jinnah Bus Terminal is also located in Thokar Niaz Baig. In October 2020, an Orange Line metro station will open here.
