CMH Nowshera has the honor of being one of the oldest military hospitals. The cherished history dates back to 1910. This illustrious hospital, originally known as the British Military Hospital (BMH), is a 400-bed class “B” health care unit with all major specialties. Another hospital, known as Indian Military Hospital (IMH), located at the present school of armor/center was merged with BMH in July 1947 and renamed as CMH Nowshera.
During the floods of 2010, although it got submerged, it remained tenacious and functional brilliantly. CMH Nowshera is ISO 9001:2008 certified, with PMDC accreditation for house jobs and CPSP accreditation for FCPS training in medicine and surgery.
The Pakistan Army owns and manages the Combined Military Hospital entirely. It’s a decent and facilitated hospital where patients are handled extremely well. CMH is undeniably more expensive, but the services they give are excellent. Their physicians are knowledgeable, disciplined, and possibly more professional than those at the area’s public hospitals.
A hospital that provides comprehensive medical care through competent specialists. There is a 24-hour emergency situation. There are enough beds for patients. The staff is helpful, caring, and courteous. Within the hospital, there is also a pharmacy.
