Police Khidmat Markaz Islambad Contact Number ~ Services

The concept behind creating a Facilitation Centre, or Police Khidmat Markaz Islamabad, is to separate police-related services and crime. It was observed that the majority of citizens visit police stations or offices either to get documents like licences and certificates or to seek some sort of registration or endorsement. So it was thought to separate crime and these services, and the concept of Khidmat Markaz emerged.

Punjab police started the First Police Khidmat Markaz in Multan in 2017. Later, it was replicated throughout Punjab in an integrated form with Mobile Khidmat Markaz and PKM Global for overseas.

The Police Facilitation Centre Islamabad was offering around seven services, which has now been upgraded to Police Khidmat Markaz with 28 services. This Markaz is now being run with PITB-supported software having integration with Punjab and other provinces so that citizens can get various police services from these provinces without physically visiting them.

This 24/7 Markaz has a separate floor for women, which is run by female officers.

Apart from the Gender Protection Unit, Tahafuz, a reporting center for transgenders manned by a transgender person, is also working in this building. A drive-through feature has also been added. Moreover, services for overseas Pakistanis and foreigners are also available here. It is hoped that Khidmat Markaz will improve police-related services for the citizens of Islamabad.

Character & Verification Certificates

1. Vehicle Verification

Vehicle Verification Module provides complete mechanism for verification of a vehicle through Police Record and Forensic Expert Report. If a citizen wants to purchase/transport a vehicle he/she can needs to make sure that vehicle is not stolen and has no record in any police station. Vehicle Verification can be done by visiting any Police Khidmat Markaz in Islamabad.

2. Police Character Certificate

Police Character Certificate is required for travelling abroad, jobs in different organizations abroad, immigration etc. Previously, getting character certificate was a complex and time-taking process not just for citizens but for the police too. Police Khidmat Marakiz (PKM) have simplified and made it time-efficient. The citizen can now apply for Character Certificate from any PKM in Islamabad.

Authority Letter (If applicant is abroad).

Authority letter with the stamp of relevant Embassy will be accepted, otherwise it should be attested by two respectable persons who are known to the applicant. The duration of applicant stay should also be mentioned in the authority letter.

Photograph (If certificate of any blood relative is required)

If applicant is out of country, the form can be submitted by any blood relative (brother, father, mother, sister etc.) with authority letter of the applicant. Overseas Pakistanis can also apply from Pakistan Embassies on PKM Global

3. General Police Verification

General Police Verification is required for job application in different organizations in Pakistan. This is also valid for servants, maids and other workers verification before hiring them for the job. Citizen can get the certificate by visiting nearby Police Khidmat Markaz.

1.Tenants Registration

Tenant Registration Certificate can be obtained either by visiting the concerned Police Station of residence or by visiting any Police Khidmat Markaz in Islamabad

2.Registration of Private Employees (ROPE)

Whenever someone hires a servant, a maid or any other worker he/she has is bound to register them with Police so that Police has information about the people living in that area. The process of registration has been simplified and can be done either by visiting concerned Police Station of your residence or by visiting any Police Khidmat Markaz. This will help citizens and Police to be aware about any criminal record of the potential employee.

Crime Report

Police Khidmat Markaz provides facility to report a crime, which is assigned to the relevant police station through the system. Once the crime is reported, the assigned inquiry officer from relevant police station will respond to the application accordingly.

Loss Report

Documents like CNIC, Driving License, ATM Card, educational documents and other belongings often get lost due to misplacement. Police Khidmat Markaz provides the facility to report the lost documents. You can also get the loss report of financial documents. Citizen will get a copy of the loss report which you can use to track your application and to apply for new documents.
